The American Fraternal Alliance offers its member societies several ways to acknowledge the contributions of its members and staff through its awards programs. Take advantage of this opportunity of industry-wide recognition for your deserving volunteer or staffer. Winners will be announced at the 2013 American Fraternal Alliance in Hollywood, Florida, September 5-7, 201. Guidelines and nomination forms are available through the links below:
Fraternalist of the Year
This premier award of the fraternal benefit system honors an outstanding volunteer for service within the past year and is open to all societies. Past winners have come from all sizes of societies, many in the past years from smaller ones. Nominees can be any age; the independent panel of judges looks only at the service to the lodge and community. And the winner is rewarded with an all-expense trip for two to the 2013 Annual Meeting. This also presents a great public relations opportunity for the member’s lodge and your society.
Also available is an evaluation tool for society fraternal staff to determine their best candidate. Deadline is July 1, 2013.
