My flight was an easy, albeit bumpy, trip to O’Hare. A few minutes later, I arrived at the nearby hotel and found huge, white tree trunks growing up from the floor to the ceiling in the ballroom foyer. Or are they giant heart arteries? Next I notice colorful, locally-sourced art on the walls created by Chicago artists. These cool features of the hotel lead me clusters of my fraternal peers picking up their badges for the newly-formatted spring meeting that has gathered all types of fraternal managers and executives. In my job, I handle product filings, human resources, and I am in charge of revamping our website. At this new Alliance Symposium, I can attend all types of workshops to help me do my job better. Plus, networking seems to be a high priority for everyone – people are introducing themselves in the Member Hub already.
